Congratulations to Lynzie Schulte, PT, DPT
The Ohio Physical Therapy Association is happy to congratulate Lynzie Schulte, PT, DPT for being announced as a recipient of APTA’s 2011 Emerging Leader Awards! Recipients of this award are physical therapists who have demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities early in their career which Lynzie has clearly accomplished by being an active APTA and OPTA member, a volunteer, an educator, a researcher, an advocate, and a strong role model in just 3 years of practice!
Lynzie has been a member of APTA since 2005 and has been an active member since she was a student of physical therapy winning awards and the APTA Charlie Harker Internship in Washington, D.C. She has served as Vice-Chair for the northeast district, an alternate Delegate to the APTA House of Delegates, Federal Liaison for the OPTA, and Legislative Chair. Lynzie also volunteers at the Free Clinic of Cleveland and co-authored a study with the Free Clinic which she will present as a platform at this year’s APTA Combined Sections Meeting! She is involved with students as she serves as a lab instructor and presenter of APTA’s Benefits of Belonging to the DPT students at Cleveland State University and is also a clinical instructor.
Congratulations again to Lynzie! We look forward to her continued involvement and commitment to the profession! Look for her and other 2011 Emerging Leader Award recipients in the October issue of PT in Motion magainze!
