A Premier Social Event on the first night of the OPA Conference. Spend the evening with Ohio pharmacists by sponsoring an OPA Dinner venue for Conference attendees. By December 15, choose one of eight Dinner in the City sponsorships. Invite your clients before OPA Conference registration opens mid-January. OPA 2015 Presentation Theatre
Presentation Theatres provide an opportunity for commercial organizations to present information about their products, services or therapeutic areas to pharmacists and student pharmacists attending the OPA Annual Conference. The material showcased in Presentation Theatres can be promotional in nature and may concentrate on specific products. There is no continuing pharmacy education credit available for these programs. At the 2014 OPA Annual Conference, two theatres were sold.
Presentation Theatres - $2250 - 50 attendees or $4500 -100 attendees
The Sponsor is responsible for designing and printing the invitations for their Presentation Theatre. The sponsor must distribute these invitations to OPA Conference attendees by March 20, 2015. The Sponsor must take reservations for the event and submit meal counts to OPA by April 7, 2015. Note: Presentation Theatres are limited in number and cannot be held or reserved without a signed agreement. Requested Theatre times are not guaranteed to be available until confirmed by OPA.
OPA will order food, will provide a theatre room and an AV package including a microphone, LCD projector and screen, as well as an early bird registrant mailing list prior to the Conference for the sponsor to coordinate registrations for the event. OPA will promote the Theatre Sponsors may request their preferred date and time from the following schedule. To apply for a 2015 OPA Theatre, print pages 4 and 9 of OPA's Select Sponsorship prospectus linked on the sponsorship page. Applications must be received by January 15, 2015. Presentation Theater Guidelines
• The Sponsor will create, manage, and deliver the presentation theatre program. The material presented in the Theatre may be promotional and may concentrate on a specific product. Continuing education credit may not be offered for Presentation Theatres.
• Presentation Theatres are considered promotional activities and must be conducted in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws, as well as all applicable standards and guidelines, including, but not limited to, applicable FDA regulations and other established standards and codes.
Limitation of Liability
OPA and the meeting facility will not be responsible for any loss, injury or damage whatsoever arising, which may occur to a sponsor or his contractors and/or its agents in connection with a Theatre. The sponsor expressly releases OPA and the meeting facility from any and all claims, injury or damage arising from the content, behaviors or other activities related to the Theatre.
OPA does not guarantee attendance at Theatres and will not refund a supporter’s fee on the basis of attendance.
Fees and Inclusions
The fee to conduct a Presentation Theatre (a 60-minute program which includes a meal) is $45 per participant for either 50 attendees and OR 100 attendees. This fee includes: meeting room; standard audio-visual set with microphone, LCD projector and screen; one time use of the early bird registrant mailing list, and online link from the OPA website.
• Food and beverage services must be provided for Theatre attendees.
• The sponsor or the sponsor’s designated third-party meeting planning organization is responsible for all aspects associated with the planning, promotion, and management of the Presentation Theatre, and for payment of all additional costs related to the Theatre including, but not limited to, audiovisual equipment, electrical services, and labor.
Changes to assigned time slots must be requested in writing to Janice Johnson at firstname.lastname@example.org and may be accommodated if the requested time slot is available. There will be no refunds for programs cancelled after March 7, 2015. For programs that are withdrawn by the sponsor before March 7, 2015, 50% of the fee will be refunded to the sponsor.

OPA Advocacy Sponsorship Opportunities
Legislative Defense Fund - $50 - $10,000 - Support the advocacy efforts of OPA! In 2014, OPA launched its Legislative Defense Fund (LDF) at the request of an independent pharmacy owner seeking to help OPA boost its advocacy efforts for pharmacists. The Legislative Defense Fund supports OPA's legislative efforst by defraying the expense of mailings, computer alert services, online government relations information, and the cost of lobbying staff. Because this fund does NOT assist in any political campaign activity, we CAN accept corporate contributions toward this effort. These contributions may be deducted as a business expense. Support the OPA LDF by making a monthly contribution of $500 (Governor's Circle), $350 (Chairman's Champions), $250 (Senator's Club), $100 (Representative's Club), or $50 (Legislative Aide). Pharmacy Legislative Day - $5000 - Attendance ≈ 100; October 2014 - Support the pharmacists who make it a priority to learn about the laws and regulations that affect the day-to-day business of pharmacy, as well as how to communicate concerns and opinions to the movers and shakers in the Ohio legislature. Student Legislative Day - $2000 - Attendance ≈ 150 - 250; February 2015 - Student pharmacists meet with legislators to educate them about the value of pharmacists in the world of health care. These students are emerging as tomorrows leaders and learning to advocate for their profession. The 2014 event had the largest attendance ever. Intro to Student Law Review - $2000 - Attendance ≈ 200; Introduce your company to Ohio pharmacy's future at the Student Law Review of the OPA Annual Conference. You will have a five minute presentation and then introduce speaker Dr. Donald Sullivan, Professor at Ohio State University. He will give a review of Ohio law to help students prepare for their Board exams. The sponsor of this program also receives two free one-day registrations to the Annual Conference. ƪ
