Jeff is a Registered Nurse with over thirty years experience in healthcare. Over the last thirteen years, as the public desire has indicated, Jeff has guided the organization and supported shifting industry direction towards increasing heatlh care services in home. During this time frame Ohio has seen tremendous growth in home & community based and end-of-life care and services. He has broad experience in advocating for appropriate care and services from a holistic Quality of Life approach. He has helped create numerous regulatory and legislative initiatives that support home care based services.
Jeff’s work and consistent attention to Quality of Life led to his nomination and recognition by the American Cancer Society to award Jeff the national Lane Adams Quality of Life Award. This award recognizes individuals who have made a difference through innovation, leadership, and consistent excellence in providing compassionate, skilled care, and counsel to persons living with cancer and their families. Jeff continues to bring a strong and persistent perspective regarding palliative care and quality of life into the healthcare arena, focusing on the events that need addressed when treatment and disease become more of a burden than benefit.

Anne’s experience in both the hospice and home care industries speak for themselves. She has over 22 years experience in hospice and 15 years in home care having launched her career as a staff nurse and working her way through the ranks to her most recent role of CEO of Universal Home Health and Hospice.
Throughout her career, Anne has also worked in a consulting role with a number of providers on a variety of topics such as strategic planning, mock surveys and compliance programs. Anne has been a frequent presenter at both the state and national organizations.
Anne’s experience will greatly assist in her role of planning educational and consultative opportunities for the Association. Making certain we continue to offer the best quality and the best price for our members.
Anne graduated from Bowling Green State University in 1988 with her BSN and Tiffin University in 2001 with her MBA. She currently lives in Clyde, Ohio with her husband and has 5 adult children. |

Jennifer has a BA in Organizational Communication from Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH. She is our go-to person related to membership and handles all internal and external communications for the organization. In 2008, Jennifer received her Grief Recovery Specialist Certification. As Bobby’s Books Project Manager she meets with hospice programs across the state to help them introduce this resource into their schools and communities. Gwen has a BS with dual majors in accounting and computer programming. She has an extensive medical background including 35+ years in home care and hospice. As the Director, Regulatory/Technical Affairs, Gwen’s responsibilities range from serving as a Fiscal Intermediary Educational Consultant to representing providers as an association expert regarding rules, regulations, start-ups, and financial / billing issues. |

Bobbi joined MCA in November of 2007. If you call into the office, you probably have heard her voice. Her main responsibilities include assisting in the preparation of educational events, maintaining and updating registration databases, ensuring preparation and distribution of outgoing communications, as well as providing administrative support to all staff. | Education RN Planner
Beth received her Master's of Science in Nursing, with a focus in oncology, from The Ohio State University. She joined Midwest Care Alliance (MCA) in 2000, and was part of the team that started the initial educational provider unit. Beth helps plan and develop education provided by MCA for a variety of professional disciplines.

Lisa received her Master's of Science in Nursing and Master's of Business Administration in Health Care Management. Her professional experience includes 25 years in the home care field. She joined Midwest Care Alliance in 2007. Lisa is involved with the planning and development of home care education for MCA.

Susi has a 25-year background in accounting and office management. During her career, Susi has managed a $10M+ operating account for an insurance company, earned a Superior Service award, and is now the person who handles the accounting for the organization. Susi is also responsible for managing the combined office needs of MCA and LeadingAge Ohio, including technical support of all office equipment. |

Susan joined the MCA staff in 2006 and earned her Masters of Social Work in 2007 from the Ohio State University. She is responsible for the CareData Pro program, and is a point of contact at the Midwest Care Alliance for quality assessment and performance improvement methods, hospice regulatory issues, and advocacy. She is the staff contact for MCA’s Quality/Standards Committee, sits on NHPCO’s Quality & Standards Committee, and is trained in the Institute for Healthcare Improvement’s Breakthrough Series Collaborative methods. | |
