Palliative Nurse Practitioner
In-House Hospice- Akron, OH
Position opening for a licensed and credentialed Nurse Practitioner (NP). This Nurse Practitioner will provide diagnosis, treatment, consultation and follow-up under the supervision of one or more physicians at In-House Hospice. The NP provides age and specialty appropriate medical care at the level of training achieved.
A Nurse Practitioner is an extension of a physician, being able to provide full palliative care across all patient types. The NP will conduct complete physicals, provide treatment and counsel patients.
Additional responsibilities include:
-Order and interpret test(s) as indicated and recommend treatment of patients
-Administer therapeutic procedures
-Prescribe therapy or medication with physician approval
