Volunteer Coordinator - Hospice Program
Our need for compassionate, understanding volunteers is ongoing. We will rely on you to successfully recruit, select, train and oversee the volunteer program for New Life. The chosen candidate will have a bachelor's degree in social work or a relevant discipline (or equivalent experience); a thorough understanding of hospice philosophy, goals and programs; and sensitivity to the needs of the dying and their families. Demonstrated organization and leadership capabilities and effective interpersonal and communication skills are necessary. Computer proficiency is a must, preferably in MS-Word/Access/PowerPoint and Adobe Pagemaker.
