Position: Performance Improvement Coordinator
Description: Hospice of Knox County (HKC) is CHAP accredited and committed to providing specialized end-of-life care to patients of all ages. HKC has an opportunity for a Full-Time Performance Improvement Coordinator (PIC) who has a desire to improve the quality of life for terminally ill patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for the monitoring, implementation and evaluation of process and programs to meet regulatory, accreditation and standards of practice. The PIC will be accountable for implementation and monitoring of the HKC Quality Assessment Performance Improvement (QAPI) Program, ensuring processes to monitor and evaluate safety, risk management and infection control programs and facilitation of employee orientation, competency and in-service education programs.
Position Requirements: RN with BSN and current licensure to practice nursing in Ohio; 3 to 5 years clinical experience; hospice experience and understanding of Medicare Conditions of Participation required; knowledge of CHAP accreditation preferred; must be able to work a flexible schedule; valid Ohio driver's license with current automobile insurance and reliable transportation for travel while on Hospice business.
