PT Firefighter/Paramedic
Liberty Township; Delaware County
These positions are responsible for the performance of specialized duties primarily in emergency response and mitigation efforts to save lives and protect property.
Duties will include, but are not limited to, firefighting and rescue, paramedic work, operating engine, ladder truck, ambulance and other vehicles and equipment maintenance on an assigned shift. Applicants must possess the ability to work with a substantial element of personal risk; the ability to work in hazardous conditions; the ability to perform paramedic work; and, the ability to exercise sound judgment.
These part-time positions will work up to twenty-four hour shifts. The hourly rate is $13.50/hour. Applications must include a valid State of Ohio Paramedic and Firefighter II certification card.
Applicants must complete a written examination and a physical abilities test to be eligible to continue in the hiring process. The testing dates have not yet been established. Applicants who are eligible to test will be notified of the testing dates and times.

IFSTA 6th Edition and AAOS 10th Edition – Care and Transportation of the Sick and Injured.
Only applicants receiving a 70% or above on the written exam will be eligible to continue in the hiring process.
