The program will offer school administrators and maintenance personnel the opportunity to complete the National Playground Institute's Playground Safety Inspector's course. Topics will include: identifying hazards on playgrounds and the steps needed for correction; developing risk management tools; importance of a comprehensive playground safety program from a legal perspective; and test methods for entrapment, protrusions, and entanglement.
