DESCRIPTION:\nBelieve it or not it has been three years since OADA presente
d this seminar to nearly 400 dealership personnel around the state. While t
he motor vehicle titling process has remained relatively unchanged for seve
nty years\, recent changes such as internet sales\, e-titling\, and increas
ing number of export vehicle sales\, new forms\, non-resident sales\, as we
ll as a number of other developments have created an abundance of questions
for dealerships.\n\nOnce again\, this seminar will dedicate a portion of t
he presentation to reviewing the basics. These topics include title cancell
ations\; odometer disclosure\; minor consent forms\; abandoned vehicle appl
ications\; MSOs\; and much more. In addition to the nuts and bolts of the t
itling process\, discussion will include many additional areas where mistak
es are commonly made that often delay the titling process\, thus causing th
ose after the sale headaches that all dealerships want to avoid. Do you hav
e questions concerning:\n\n	-Processing the paperwork for export vehicles\n
\n	-When and when not to collect sales tax\n\n	-Blanket authorization for E
-titles\n\n	-Titling non resident vehicles\n\n	-Changes to the 3772 Form\n\
n	-Salvage titles\n\n	-Social security numbers on titles\n\nThese topics as
well as many others will be covered during the 3 1/2 hour seminar.\n\nEach
attendee will not only receive a copy of the power point presentation\, bu
t also a comprehensive titling manual that can be used as a reference resou
rce or as a training tool for employees new to the titling process.\n\nThis
seminar series offers an excellent review of the fundamentals while at the
same time providing dealership personnel the ability to learn firsthand th
e ongoing evolution of the titling process.\n\nOur featured speaker will on
ce again be Debbie Couch. Debbie currently serves as the Acting Chief for V
ehicle Information Services\, and has nearly twenty years of experience wit
h the BMV.\n\nWho should attend? We know from the past titling personnel wi
ll attend and learn a great deal from this seminar. However don&rsquo\;t fo
rget that F & I and sales are integrally involved in this process. Many of
the &ldquo\;after the sale&rdquo\; titling problems we assist dealerships w
ith could have been avoided if at the time of sale certain steps had been t
aken. We therefore encourage you to bring these employees as well.\n\nWe wa
nt your questions! The best way for us to provide the information you need
is to hear from you before the seminar. We will forward your question(s) to
the appropriate people so that the experts may get you an answer during th
e seminar. Please email your questions to DeAnna Zahniser at OADA\, (mailto
:dzahniser@oada.com) dzahniser@oada.com\, or fax them to 614-766-9600\, att
n: DeAnna. This is a unique opportunity to get all of your questions answer
ed from the experts in the titling process in Ohio.\n\nThis is a &ldquo\;do
n&rsquo\;t miss&rdquo\; seminar that promises to hold your attention and in
form at the same time. Please see the enclosed registration form. If you ha
ve any questions\, please contact DeAnna Zahniser at OADA\, 800-686-9100.\n
