Early Childhood Lobbyist and Year-Round Public Policy Consultant

North Carolina Child Care Coalition

The North Carolina Child Care Coalition invites applicants for the position of Early Childhood Lobbyist and Year-round Public Policy Consultant starting January 2, 2011. The North Carolina Child Care Coalition is a statewide organization made up of many early childhood partners.  It is our mission to advocate for affordable, accessible, quality early care and education for North Carolina’s children and their families because they are the future of North Carolina. The successful candidate is responsible for providing state legislative/executive branch lobbying services and information, education, and outreach services in the area of early childhood. See attached job description for a more detailed description of duties.  B.A. degree and three years of experience with same or similar duties is required.  The ideal candidate will have prior experience in legislative lobbying or government relations. Compensation is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
