NCPLA Annual Meeting

October 19-20, 2009

Holiday Inn Brownstone, Raleigh, NC

The NCPLA Events Committee has planned a great Annual Meeting! Below is a list of speakers and a brief overview of Tuesday's educational sessions.

Annual Meeting Speakers

  • Brad Crone, President, Campaign Connections
  • Steven B. Long, Partner, Williams Mullen
  • Robert J. Rosser, Partner, Continental Communications, Inc.

Program Overview

As advocacy efforts in the halls of the North Carolina General Assembly become more and more complex, professional lobbyists have turned to sophisticated public relations and lobbying campaigns in order to best represent their clients.  Mounting a public relations and lobbying campaign can be a daunting task, and is further complicated by ever changing ethics and election laws.  Come learn how to successfully organize a coalition and execute a campaign, while avoiding numerous legal pitfalls along the way…or acquire the knowledge to combat such an effort.

As in our previous Annual Meetings, NCPLA plans to apply for at least one (1) hour of CLE credit for the educational portion of the Meeting.
