Champions of Change: Girls and Women in STEM
White House Highlights 2 NCDA Members
Twelve leaders in the effort to recruit and retain girls and women in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields were recently honored as White House Champions of Change. These men and women have each taken great strides to reduce the barriers that drive many girls and women to turn away from high-paying, highly rewarding careers as the Nation’s top innovators. Two of the honorees are NCDA members.

One Plus One Can Reach Millions

Teleconference Reaches Out

NCDAs National Reach Effort included a Teleconference in July. Several hundred participants gathered at 16 sites nationally as the panel fielded questions dealing with diversity concerns, counselor workload, narrative therapy, spirituality and testing. A second teleconference is planned during the NCDA 2005 Orlando conference next June.
Website Redesign in Process
