Alease Copelin

Alease Copelin is a professional educator whose thirty-six year career includes classroom instruction at the high school level as well as school counseling K through 12. Her current position as Career Technology Counselor and Career Center Director provides opportunities to assist students translate career interest/aptitudes into post-secondary educational options. College and scholarship application support as well as resume preparation and interviewing skills are a few of the services provided to students. She has received grants to create and implement career camps and recently partnered with a community college to provide at-risk seniors with an over-night Camp College experience. To insure her skills and knowledge base are current Alease, in addition to her GCDF, has earned a variety of career-related certifications:  Distance Career Facilitator (DCF), Certified Employment Interview Professional (CEIP), Certified Professional Career Coach (CPCC), Certified Workforce Development Professional (CWDP), Certified Advanced Resume Writer (CARW) as well as 360Reach Analyst training. Alease has a Bachelor’s Degree in Vocational Home Economics and a Masters Degree in School Counseling.
