Checklists & Procedures
Checklists and procedures represent tools available both to distributors and/or end users of hose assemblies to ensure adherence to the Hose Assembly Guidelines recommendations.
Hydraulic Audit
Provides a sample of a tool available to Hose Safety Institute Distributors of hydraulic hose assemblies to help manage appropriate quality control and testing processes.
Mini Tutorial
This document is a mini tutorial, which provides an understanding of static conductivity and related issues.
Quality Program Template
Available to Hose Safety Institute Distributors to help create and manage a company’s quality control program in-line with the recommendations found in the Hose Assembly Guidelines.
STAMPED — Custom Hose
This template was developed to guide distributor end-user discussions for custom hose assembly requirements. These assemblies are typically contracted with the appropriate manufacturer, but the distributor serves as a key link in the process. Defining the requirements properly reduces cost and improves the quality of the end product.
STAMPED Template
The Hose Assembly Guidelines specify a process for working with customers to identify all aspects of a hose assembly application so that the best solution can be determined. This is referred to as the STAMPED process, which addresses topics such as: what hose assembly ends are required, what temperatures will the hose assembly be subjected to, etc.
