Purpose: To review CMS' final wage index rule focusing on the Hospice Quality Reporting Program (HQRP), including the Hospice Item Set (HIS), the hospice "experience of care" instrument, and anticipated timeline for value-baed hospice payment.
Articulate contents of August 2013 final rule pertaining to hospice quality reporting program.
Criteria for successful completion receipt of 1.0 contact hour: Attendance at entire event and submission of completed evaluation form.
