Leadership
ISD is a not-for-profit 501(C)(6) trade association, governed by an elected Board of Directors and supported by appointed committees and staff. Any ISD member in good standing may serve as a committee member or be nominated for election to serve on the Board. ISD Nomination Forms should be completed for any interested member, with the approval of the member so nominated, and submitted to the ISD office.
Committee appointments are made routinely upon request. For individuals seeking to serve as elected board members, the Association Nominating Committee will review all nominees for board election and will recommend approved candidates to the Board. Election of new Board Members is conducted by mail ballot, in accordance with the Association's by-laws.
