Advocacy
HARDI is the single voice for HVACR wholesale distributors for federal and state legislative and regulatory issues. The Action Center enables members to send letters to elected officials in less than two minutes regarding immediate legislative issues. HARDI's government relations objectives are in order as follows:
- Educate our members of legislative and regulatory issues that specifically affect HVACR distributor members, their customer base, or the products they supply.
- Represent HVACR distributor members and their interests in industry coalitions and alliances.
- Educate legislative and regulatory bodies about issues specific to HVACR wholesale distribution including the impact prospective legislation or regulation may have on our distributor members.
- Assist and support members' efforts to effectively communicate with their elected representatives.
- Be a resource for information and data to legislative and regulatory bodies regarding HVACR, business, and supply chain issues.
HARDI does not have and is not associated with any Political Action Committees (PACs) and does not solicit monetary donations for political contributions.
HARDI will help educate members on political candidates' track record of support for HVACR industry interests and issues.
