Goodman Touts Quality, Commitment to HARDI Distributors
August 12, 2010 HARDI’s Director of Education, Patricia Kutt, and Vice President, Talbot Gee met with Goodman Global’s President and CEO, David Swift, and Senior Vice President of Marketing, Gary Clark, at their corporate headquarters in Houston, TX. After answering a number of questions about how one of the industry’s top equipment manufacturers by volume could be more involved as a Supplier Member of HARDI, Kutt and Gee were taken on an extensive tour of Goodman’s engineering facility and cooling products manufacturing factory. Displaying rigorous quality control and R&D systems and infrastructure, Goodman left little doubt in their confidence of bringing reliable and affordable products to the HVAC market.
Goodman Global, which rejoined HARDI as Supplier Member in 2009 after a several year membership hiatus expressed renewed commitment to the industry’s only trade association for wholesale distribution, and plans to be an active participant in this year’s Annual Fall Conference, October 23-26 which happens to be in their own back yard this year at the Hilton Americas Hotel in Houston. The two organizations also plan to explore ways to partner on educational initiatives, including efforts to aggressively grow the number of NATE Certified HVACR technicians.
