2010 ECA Centennial Scholarships
Call for Applications
Graduate student research awards, called the ECA Centennial Scholarships, will be distributed at the 2010 ECA Convention in Baltimore. Initially implemented to honor the 100th anniversary of the Eastern Communication Association, the awards will be given to one master's-level student and one doctoral-level student for conducting research related to unfinished thesis/dissertation projects in the field of Communication.
Award Selection Criteria:
- Current student status in a graduate program in Communication
- Current membership in the Eastern Communication Association
Application Materials: Submit the following for full consideration
- Summary of unfinished master's thesis or doctoral dissertation project for which the scholarship is sought, not to exceed four pages or 1500 words in length
- Current curriculum vita
- Letter of recommendation from student's research director or major professor
