Scaffolding Competent Person Training

The Builders Exchange of Dayton and the Subcontractors Association of Western Ohio are pleased to announce their upcoming Scaffolding Training Course. This course will feature both classroom training and hands-on training. Participants will receive their OSHA Recognized Certified cards.

 This training focuses specifically on the principles of scaffold safety. It is designed to provide the   student with basic technology and full interpretation of the scaffold standard. The student will be    introduced to the basic scaffolding operations from installation to dismantling. Topics will include built-up scaffolds, suspension scaffolds and interpretation of related standards.

 This training meets the training requirements needed to document the “Competent Person” requirement set forth in Subpart L: Scaffolding.

 Participants must be work/safety ready and bring work clothes, boots, hard hat, safety glasses and optional gloves.

 Class size is limited, so please register promptly.
