CSCA - 2012 Convention Program Advertisements/Undergraduate and Graduate School Fair

RECRUIT TOP NOTCH STUDENTS!! 

GET YOUR UNIVERSITY NOTICED 

I want to be sure to let you know that it is still not too late for your university to place an ad in the CSCA 2012 Convention program!! The conference is coming together and with last year's record numbers we expect this year to be outstanding! A note -- last year the undergraduate honors conference was a big success and will again run concurrently with the CSCA conference. What does this mean? Many of the top notch undergraduate students from the CSCA region will be present at the conference presenting their papers and posters and attending panels. The students that attend the undergraduate honors conference are those that are likely to pursue a masters or doctorate degree. For the schools that have Master and Ph.D. programs this becomes a great opportunity and tool to recruit at the conference. 

Your visibility can occur on two levels: 

1) A one-page ad in the CSCA program (cost is $225). This is a very effective way to get your program noticed and trust me, undergrads who go to the conference do look at the university ads in the program because they are so excited by CSCA and begin looking at where they might go to school (I bring lots of students each year and I know this). They also have a tendency to read the program from cover to cover (hee hee). 

2) You can also participate in the Undergraduate and Graduate School Fair (free to dept members and $50 for non department members). This occurs during the undergraduate honors luncheon so you have a captive audience! (register your university for this on the conference registration form).
