Dear Political Communication Interest Group Members:
As we prepare for CSCA's 2012 conference in Cleveland (March 28-31), I have an announcement and a request.
First, the Interest Groups call for papers is now posted on CSCA's website: https://associationdatabase.com/aws/CSCA/pt/sp/callforpapers_political. Submissions are due on September 30th this year. We invite a variety of formats, so please start brainstorming ways that you can participate. Also, please feel free to send me any ideas that you might have that could be tied to the location of this years conference. This year we are especially interested in proposals that cross boundaries between interest groups, so please be encouraged to contact your friends and colleagues to develop innovative proposals.
Second, I am interested in volunteers to serve as chairs, reviewers, and respondents. If you are willing to assist in this capacity, please respond to warnerbe@missouri.edu with the following information:

Finally, don't forget to encourage graduate student submissions so they can compete for the J. Jeffrey Auer Award given to the top graduate student paper in the Political Communication Interest Group.
