Only One More Week to Pre-Register!!
Given the massive amounts of snow that most of us have been getting, it may be hard to imagine that spring (and the 2010 CSCA conference!) is right around the corner. Yet, I just flipped my calendar to March today, and I smiled to note that we only have around six more weeks until we meet in Cincinnati for another terrific annual meeting of our association.
I know that Steve Hunt has planned a wonderful program for us, and you won't want to miss a moment. Thus, I strongly encourage you to plan ahead NOW so that you can make the most of your conference experience.
First, I urge you to go to our website (http://www.csca-net.org/) and pre-register for the conference BEFORE the pre-registration deadline of March 8. All of us enjoy saving money whenever we can, and pre-registering before the deadline is an easy way to keep money in our pockets. For example, regular members SAVE $25 by simply pre-registering before March 8. Additionally, pre-registration enables you to reserve your spot for various activities throughout the conference, including the preconference, luncheon, pub crawl, and short courses. Notably, the Hall of Fame Luncheon is FREE, but you MUST pre-register by March 8. CLICK HERE to submit your registration.
Second, I suggest that you make reservations as soon as possible in our conference hotel. As the conference continues to approach, rooms in our block will fill up, and you won't want to miss out on staying in this lovely facility or being just a few steps away from exciting panels and great conversations with your CSCA colleagues. We're very excited about the upcoming conference, and, in the coming weeks, Steve Hunt will be highlighting some of the activities through special e-bulletins to the membership. Also, if you're on Facebook, you might want to join our Facebook group for this year's conference: CSCA 2010: Challenge, Engage, and Change in Cincinnati. You can get updates about events and connect with others in advance of the conference through this fun form of social networking. We're going to have a fabulous time in Cincinnati in just six short weeks!!
Remember that the key to saving money, reserving your spot for special activities, and getting set for a tremendous conference involves pre-registering in the next seven days! You can opt to complete the registration form online or mail it, but the form and payment MUST be received by March 8 in order to take advantage of the lower price and to ensure a place for special events.
