Pam Krenzke Nominated for Jefferson Award
Krenzke nomination 'was long overdue'
Four years after her death, Pam Krenzke, Founder of Bobby's Books, has been nominated for a Jefferson Award.
Jennifer Taylor, a project manager for the Ohio Hospice and Palliative Care Organization located in Metro Place North in Dublin, said she nominated Krenzke, who lived in Hilliard. Taylor said the nomination was "was long overdue."
The Jefferson Awards were created in 1972 by Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis and Ohio Sen. Robert Taft Jr. to highlight the work of people who do extraordinary things in their community and normally go unnoticed.
Krenzke's posthumous nomination is one of 20 in central Ohio.
