Complete Story 05/25/2010COMMUNITY BANKERS ASSOCIATION OF ILLINOIS NAMES CSI'S WEB@WORKBOARD PORTAL A "PREFERRED PROVIDER"
PADUCAH, Ky. -- (May 25, 2010) -- The Community Bankers Association of Illinois (CBAI), through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Community BancService Corporation (CBSC), recently named the Web@Work Board Portal, provided by Computer Services, Inc. (CSI) (OTCQX: CSVI), a Preferred Provider.
Computer Services, Inc. is a leading provider of innovative banking technologies and eBusiness services. The company released its Web@Work corporate Intranet in 1998. Since its introduction, the service has continued to grow with the addition of time and attendance features, automatic policy management, electronic forms, task management and most recently a custom database creation capability. In 2009, CSI announced the release of its Web@Work Board Portal, a centralized repository of information for banks' boards of directors.
BAI knows the benefits of the Web@Work Board Portal first-hand.
"CBAI's three corporate boards are comprised of bankers from across the state," explained Mike Kelley, President of CBSC. "In the past, we produced paper board packages that required hundreds of pages, thousands of dollars in postage costs, and dozens of man hours to prepare. Now, using the Web@Work Board Portal, we have significantly reduced our costs and the amount of time it takes to prepare board packages."
In addition to simplifying board package preparation, the Web@Work Board Portal has provided CBAI with unexpected benefits. "Interaction is no longer reserved for board meetings," said Kelley. "Board Portal facilitates monthly and even weekly electronic communication among directors and between directors and our staff."
"CBAI hopes and anticipates that our members will take advantage of these Web@Work Board Portal benefits and the countless features CBAI has yet to discover," concluded Kelley. "The association endorsed CSI's Web@Work Board Portal service because it has the potential to provide a significant number of CBAI members with a competitive advantage and increased profitability. The association also believes Web@Work Board Portal will allow CBAI members to enhance their relationships with customers and directors."
CSI Director of Business Development Bill Evers echoed Kelley's comments, "CSI's Web@Work Board Portal is a powerful tool that gives businesses the ability to extend secure anywhere, anytime access to their current and archived board materials. Our Board Portal saves both time and money, and CSI is delighted to provide CBAI and its members these benefits."
