Bob Lund of eGistics Assumes Chairmanship of TAWPI Board

 

 
DALLAS, December 7, 2009 - Bob Lund, chairman and CEO of eGistics, Inc., has assumed the chairmanship of the TAWPI board of directors succeeding Bruce Wallace, head of global operations at Silicon Valley Bank.  A TAWPI board member since 2007, Lund most recently served as vice chairman of the board.  Under TAWPI bylaws, the vice chairman of the association's board of directors assumes the chairmanship.  Lund will serve as TAWPI board chairman for a two-year term.
 
In announcing Lund's chairmanship, TAWPI President Frank Moran said, "Bob has been an active and influential member of TAWPI, most recently serving as vice chairman of the TAWPI board.  Under Bob's leadership, TAWPI will continue as a vital resource for payments and document professionals, while building on its strong momentum and success in new market segments."

Prior to joining eGistics, Lund provided services to two private equity firms, Trident Capital and Morgan Stanley Venture Partners.  He has held the CEO position in several public and private technology companies after serving as the president of the Payment Services Division of EDS.
