Volume I - Office Management Overview
This manual is designed to assist the new administrator or manager become more organized, as well assist seasoned veterans looking for new ideas. The Office Management Overview includes numerous sample worksheets and templates. Section topics include: manager overview, terminology, clinic information, business office, employee recruitment, clinic employee information, and personal information. A vast reference section at the end of the toolkit provides additional continuing edcuation resources.

Volume II - Job Descriptions & Performance Appraisals
This five section toolkit is designed to assist administrators/managers in the process of writing and implementing job descriptions and performance appraisals. Section topics include: job descriptions, performance appraisals, summary, job description examples and performance appraisal examples from five practices of varying size and scope.

Volume III - Personnel Handbook For Employees
Rules can be cumbersome but are necessary to avoid an unorganized and chaotic atmosphere in your office. The more employees in a Dermatology practice, the greater the need for more rules in order to have a stable, fair working environment. Decisions regarding office policy are usually made when the issue arises and most personnel handbooks are introduced because of need. Don't wait for the problem - here's the solution! Toolkit III has guidelines for developing an employee manual or personnel handbook that can be tailored to fit your office.

Volume IV – Dermatology Sample Forms
Everyone uses forms. This toolkit contains the results of many people in various offices over lots of years working towards a better process. The sample forms in this toolkit have proven successful in other dermatology practices, and are designed to be a starting point to create templates to help an administrator or manager quickly address their needs.

Volume V – Dermatology Staff Competencies
Accountability has become increasingly more important in the workplace. Administrators and managers are always looking for new ways to document and verbalize employee accountability. This includes having appropriate backup for employee behavior and task accountability. Competencies are a way to assist with this documentation, by acting as a template for regular employee reviews. This toolkit provides information on competencies in a dermatology practice: the “who, what, when, where and why” of competencies using templates and examples.

Volume VI - Implementing an Electronic Medical Records System
Implementing an electronic medical records (EMR) system is one of the most important vehicles for advancing the quality of dermatological care. This toolkit will assist dermatology practices in preparing to implement an EMR. It is the only dermatology specific manual developed to guide managers in the selection of an EMR system; and its project management guide is designed specifically for dermatology managers by dermatology managers who have successfully implemented EMRs into their own practices.
